World of Warcraft: my easy gold making profession tips!

Everyone I know always told me farming was the best way to make gold, and there wrong. My methods probably wont make you rich beyond your wildest dreams in WoW but it helped me get epic flying faster then I expected so I figure why not share it. Here I will give you three profession tips I use to generate large amounts of gold. Now these methods may vary by server considering each server (realm) has a different economy.

Method #1 – Mining

Mining is used by mainly warriors and other plate/mail wearing classes to help them with blacksmithing but later in the game when I was an 85 Dwarven warrior with mostly all epics and blues I saw no need to use blacksmithing because it’s tons of work and time you I didn’t have, yet my mining was almost capped off so a few days while I was waiting for my dungeons or whatever I figured I’d go mine to pass the time and after accumulating stacks of ores, gems and stone I was over packed and sold it on the AH (auction house) and made a huge monetary gain so I continued to do it and made thousands every week. But a good tip to add is to check what’s worth more on the auction house, the ore or the smelted product and proceed accordingly.

Method #2 – alchemy

I chose alchemy early in the game and essentially never used it. I stayed at level 23 for awhile (levels 13-76) and never used it for whatever reason until I discovered the elixir of giant growth which is a product you can make through alchemy. This elixir does nothing fancy, it just makes your character twice his/her original size in-game (mounts as well) after seeing that these were going for 30-50 gold a stack I wanted in. it requires one deviate fish (can be fished in the barrens), one crystal vial (sold by almost every vendor) and one earthroot (sold very cheap on AH, about 1gold a stack) once you obtain large amounts of these reagants just whip the elixirs up and sell! Quick and large amounts of gold for little work! But you do need level 90 alchemy which isn’t hard to obtain just do a few small elixirs or what not and also the recipe is sold on the AH and the price varies at times from 1gold to 250gold at other times but can also be farmed from every animal in the barrens (I got it that way).

Method #3 – cooking

This third and final method of mine also involves the deviate fish. The fish is the key component to the recipe known as Savory Deviate Delight. This treat can be made with level 85 cooking by just building a normal fire and cooking the fish. But of course you need the recipe, which can be bought at the Auction house or picked up as a drop off any mob in the barrens. The treat when consumed turns your character into either a human ninja or human pirate and is widely enjoyed in-game by players and made me tons of gold considering stacks go between 20-35gold sometimes higher.
